Accuse Your Opponent of that Which You are Guilty

A clever and insidious propaganda tactic used often by today's Republican party is to do something bad and have the gall to falsely accuse Democrats of being the ones actually guilty of it.

Donald Trump shamelessly says he will "Drain the Swamp" despite having one of -- if not the most -- corrupt administrations in US history. He has countless credible criminal accusations ranging from fraud, obstruction of justice and extortion to sexual assault and even rape but leads chants of "Lock Her Up" at campaign rallies. He'll smear Hillary's health while he shows actual real health issues, smear Joe Biden as not being competent despite countless, countless, countless reports from notable credible insiders about him being one of the most incompetent leaders imaginable.

Nobody has accused their opponents of more things to which they are guilty of or plan to do than Donald Trump, and the Republican party has followed suit. If your party has turned extreme, irrational and corrupt, your only recourse is propaganda.

Hijack Unfavorable Terms & Buzzwords
When the right is guilty of major offenses, it is hard to insulate their base from hearing about them. So one tactic they use to combat that is to "hijack" terms and falsely label opponents with the term instead.
