Afterwards, she had complications producing breast milk for her baby. While being transferred by van, agents, aware of her condition and ignoring pleas from her brother, drove recklessly fast and over potholes in a way that was very painful for Nayra. - Three men seeking refuge

They then detained three men receiving humanitarian aid. - Chinese man and his son Yuanxin

Chicago, El Paso & New Mexico
Dec 1, 2025A Venezuelan father and 19-year-old daughter asylum seekers were taken by ICE agents during a standard immigration check-in in Chicago despite having work permits and a good asylum case. They were taken to the Broadview facility where they were "cold, without any blankets, without any food and they were laying on the floor without any beds." They were later transferred to facilities far away in El Paso and New Mexico where placing a simple phone call costs $53 and overcrowded with 70 people in the room the daughter was held in. Medical issues were ignored where the daughter was not given any medication despite having a bad cough that was worsening and the father hadn't been given his medication for high blood pressure. - Jaime Alberto Quintanilla-Chavez
San Antonio, TX
Nov 30, 2025Jaime Alberto Quintanilla-Chavez had his car window broken by an impatient ICE agent who said "I ain’t got time for this" and was then dragged from the car, handcuffed, had his face pushed across the concrete and was held down forcefully on his neck. Officers lacked a warrant and had no information on his immigration status in an instance of obvious racial profiling. The agent who shattered the window cut his hand during the process, but immigration agents charged the man they detained with assault on an officer which faces 20 years in prison. A republican appointed Federal Judge eventually dropped the charges which he considered "largely fictional," further stated that the "Government’s conduct was—and has been—outrageous" and described their behavior as a "break car windows first and ask questions later policy". - Man passively protesting

Nov 29, 2025College freshman Any Lucia Lopez Belloza, who has lived in the United States since she was 7 and thus is DACA eligible, was detained by immigration officials at Logan International Airport on a flight to visit family in Austin for Thanksgiving. She was quickly deported to Honduras by ICE despite having flown multiple times during the year without any issues and also despite having a court order barring her removal which was ignored. She was not informed of issues with her immigration record which also registered her case as resolved in 2017 and so was unable to file paperwork to address them. Her parents did not hear from her for two days while she was detained. - Martha Ruiz56-year old diabetic
Green Card Applicant
Gary, Indiana
Nov 29, 202556-year old diabetic Martha Ruiz, who has no criminal history and has lived in the U.S. since the 90s on a religious visa, had agents bang on her door and then immediately broke it down before she had time to answer.- Despite her telling them she had a hurt arm, agents forced it behind her back and handcuffed her on the ground.
- One of their dogs obviously bit her repeatedly on her back and legs leaving bite wounds still noticeable two weeks later. When she yelled out in pain and out of a longtime fear of dogs, they dismissed her with "our dog doesn’t bite."
- They then dragged her up the stairs and threw her on the ground fracturing her ribs which she did not receive any medical attention for until she was released two weeks later.
- When she asked to use the bathroom, they refused.
- She was transferred from a nearby ICE facility in Broadview, Chicago where she shared an overcrowded room with 170 people with only one window, a single open bathroom with no privacy and where some had to sleep on the floor.
- She was then transferred to an El Paso, TX ICE facility much further away after a couple days where they finally treated just the pain from her injuries but only with a single injection.
- She was finally taken to a women's shelter where people were kind and welcoming but obstinately felt the need to shackle her the entire trip all the way up until she walked in the door.
- When finally released, her son had to fly all the way out to El Paso to bring her home where she was given an ankle monitor -- something they could have done very easily from the beginning.

Nov 28, 2025Indigenous actor Elaine Miles was randomly stopped and detained while walking to a bus stop by four masked ICE agents who questioned her valid tribal papers saying they "looked fake" and "anyone can make that." Her lawyer said she was "completely dumbfounded" as this had never happened before. She then had to file a lawsuit in federal court after authorities tried to deport her without a hearing. Nov 20, 2025Marimar Martinez & Anthony Ian Santos Ruiz were targeted by CBP agents who instigated an accident.- An agent in a vehicle yelled out "do something b#tch" after which another agent escalated and shot at her five times of which she was hospitalized with a bullet wound.
- The shooting agent sadistically bragged afterwards, "I fired 5 rounds and she had 7 holes. Put that in your book boys" and then later in response to a news article on the incident, "Read it. 5 shots, 7 holes."
- Both were initially charged with assault, but prosecutors ended up dropping all charges with prejudice as evidence showed it was CBP who were negligent.
- In addition, the offending agent drove the vehicle 1000 miles away to Maine immediately afterwards which was against protocols so presumably was done to hinder investigations into his culpability.

He had his North Carolina Real ID proving his citizenship, yet they handcuffed and drove him away with an agent getting angry to him further asserting details of being a citizen. Finally, they pulled into a parking lot, uncuffed him and threw his wallet and cards out the window which scattered to the ground. During the raid, they walked up to and immediately tackled a man to the ground who was simply standing by a table with his back turned. They also broke the door of a food truck that was locked and closed for the night, and an agent used an umbrella to break a security camera which recorded everything. Nov 16, 2025U.S. citizen activist journalist Miguel Angel Garcia Martinez passively followed and filmed CBP agents from his van during which they targeted him in an unwarranted, unjustified and egregious escalation and excessive use of force after he did not agree to a "voluntary stop" by an agent and another agent made a gesture for him to leave after which he left. Despite leaving to deescalate the situation as instructed, CBP agents followed him driving recklessly including briefly into oncoming traffic and the CBP agent driving tried repeatedly to ram his van egged on by his fellow agents who described the pursuit as "fun" and "great." And in further disregard to public safety one exclaimed, "he’s gonna get shot is what’s gonna happen." When finally stopped, they smashed his window, arrested him and -- as was probably the plan all along to intimate people holding them accountable -- falsely charged him with assault. A judge summarily dropped the assault charges noting it was CBP agents who expressed an intent to hit the van. - Willian Gimenez Gonzalez

Oct 10, 2025A woman's car is hit by ICE agents which is clearly their fault. But instead of responding reasonably acknowledging their role in causing the accident, they violently dragged the woman from her car and threw her to the ground in an egregiously excessive use of force perhaps triggered by her honking at them for blocking the road in an unmarked vehicle. The SUV doesn't turn normally to leave the scene and instead makes an overly wide turn -- perhaps in an attempt to intimidate bystanders filming them from the sidewalk -- which is abnormal for someone continuing straight. So, the woman probably thinks it's fine to finally pass.
