This is the "Jared Kushner received $2 billion dollars from the Saudis to invest" category -- conflicts of interest that are so egregious they are scandalous. Even if there isn't proof of a quid pro quo, corruption is established with future people knowing if they kowtow to the interests of another country over our own -- like Jared did to Saudis -- they will find a way to reward you later.

So, we'll be adding instances here where something appears corrupt by all standards, but either there isn't anything technically illegal or there isn't enough evidence to bring criminal charges.
